SPLA PROGRAM

The Speech Language Pathology Assistant Program is a distance learning program which trains students to become Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). After completing the program, graduates can apply for SLPA licensure (requirements vary by state) and work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). SLPAs assist SLPs in providing therapy to individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders, helping improve overall communication and quality of life.
