Business AS Degrees
The Business Degree and Business - Hospitality Management Degree programs provide students with the opportunity to transfer to a four-year university. These degrees have 2 + 2 agreements with East Central University and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. These degrees require more general education courses as a transfer degree, while still providing you the basics to begin your career path to areas such as Accounting, Finance, Management, Hospitality Management, Marketing, Human Resources, or Economics.
Business Management AAS Degrees
The Business Management Degree, and Business Management Options provide students with a wide range of entry level education and training for beginning positions in management and entrepreneurial ventures. with a general management program degree, and options in Accounting, Medical Office Assistant, and Retail Management, students can receive a degree in areas with job opportunities close to home or across the country. Most of these degrees include an internship, which gives students the opportunity to experience working in the area related to their degree. Students with entry-level education and training can expect to find jobs as accounting clerks, legal assistants, lodging and restaurant managers, office managers, medical office assistants, and others.
Phi Beta Lambda
Students at Murray State College have the opportunity to join the local chapter of Phi Beta Lambda, the worlds' largest business organization for students. Through PBL you can gain leadership skills, promote service learning, travel, and compete in individual and team events at state, and possibly the national level.
