The Murray State College Golf program is moving to Ardmore this fall.

“Ardmore offers an exceptional golfing environment,” said Murray State College Golf Coach Luke Coppedge. “I requested this move to enhance our athletes’ training experience and to provide them with new challenges and opportunities to excel in their sport.”

Murray State is partnering with The Preserve to offer student housing for athletes. The close proximity to campus and Dornick Hills Golf & Country Club provides opportunities for students to safely access important student services and top-tier training amenities.

This move marks a significant milestone in the college’s ongoing efforts to provide Murray State student-athletes with the best resources for personal success. With a commitment to fostering an environment that promotes excellence in both academics and athletics, college leadership was in support of the transition.

“We believe this move will contribute greatly to the development of our student-athletes and further strengthen our golf program,” said Murray State College President Dr. Tim Faltyn. “We look forward to seeing our golfers thrive, continuing to achieve great success on and off the course.”

Murray State expects to make additional announcements regarding the golf program in the near future.
