Murray State College is pleased to announce Ann Holloway and Lorene Walker-Auld as this year’s Distinguished Alumni. Wade Middleton will also be honored with the Champion Award for supporting the college’s endeavors.

“It is a true privilege to welcome Ann and Lorene into the esteemed ranks of distinguished alumni and to showcase Wade as our first-ever Champion Award recipient,” said J.P. Johnson, Murray State College Alumni Coordinator. “Their achievements and dedication embody the Aggie spirit, and we are honored to celebrate them."

The Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes alumni who have attained outstanding achievements and success in their professions and/or exemplary service to their communities.

The Champion Award honors an individual who has shown outstanding dedication and support to Murray State. This award recognizes those who have made significant contributions through resources, volunteerism or advocacy.

"True success is not measured by wealth or status, but by the positive impact one leaves on the world,” said Dr. Tim Faltyn, Murray State College President. “Our award recipients exemplify this, using their talents, knowledge and passion to inspire communities far beyond our college."

The recipients will be honored during homecoming week at the Murray State College Alumni Banquet, which will be held on November 9, 2024, at the Murray State College Event Center in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
