This year, two Murray State College students received an All-Oklahoma Academic Team award, and six students received Oklahoma Association of Community Colleges (OACC) President’s Tuition Waiver awards.

All-Oklahoma Academic Team

This program honors outstanding two-year college students for their academic excellence and leadership. To qualify, students must be nominated by their college president for the All-USA Academic Team, maintain a minimum GPA of 3.50 on a 4.0 scale, and be eligible to graduate during the current academic year.

This year’s All-Oklahoma Academic Team award recipients are:

Natalie Gehring, Sophomore, Marriage and Family Therapy

Deborah West, Sophomore, Psychology

 

OACC President’s Tuition Waiver Awards

Each year, the Presidents of Oklahoma community colleges select deserving students to receive a $1,000 tuition waiver for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year, applied as $500 per semester. Recipients are selected based on their outstanding academic achievements and leadership skills.

This year’s OACC President’s Tuition Waiver recipients are:
