This Friday, Murray State College will celebrate its largest graduating class, thus far, in the school’s history. More than 500 degrees and certificates were submitted for the 2023-2024 academic year.

“We have streamlined our enrollment management process, allowing us to better serve our students and increase our retention rate,” said Becky Henthorn, Murray State College Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs. “We want to create a positive learning experience for students to be successful.”

“This has been a historic year for us,” said Dr. Tim Faltyn, Murray State College President. “I can’t think of a better way to celebrate our 100th commencement than to do it with our largest graduating class.”

Murray State College’s commencement will be at 7 p.m., Friday, May 10 at the Aiitafama’ Ishto (Large Meeting Place) located at 502 W. 7th Street in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. The ceremony will be livestreamed on Murray State’s Facebook page.
