Murray State College Library highlights Banned Books Week, September 23-29

The Murray State College Library is drawing attention to issues of censorship and freedom of expression by participating in National Banned Books Week, September 23 through 29. A display containing several of the books that have been the target of bans, some recently and some historically, has been set up in the library with information about why they were considered controversial or the subject of backlash. Murray State College/OSU partnership offers bachelor’s degree in agricultural leadership

Murray State College has joined in partnership with Oklahoma State University around the Agricultural Leadership Degree Completion Program. The project is designed to improve four-year degree completion rates for place-bound students wanting bachelor of science degrees in agricultural leadership from OSU. Read More »


MSC Golfer, Moores, ties for first, team ties for third at Texas Intercollegiate Tournament

The Murray State College women’s golf team played September 10 and 11 in the Texas Intercollegiate Golf Tournament hosted by Texas Wesleyan University. The Murray State College team, led by Rian Moores, Kitana Hollins and Brooke Irion who all placed in the top 10 at the tournament, finished tied for third overall with McLennan Community College at 964. Murray State College women’s soccer to offer Little Aggies Soccer Program in October

Murray State College has announced plans to hold a Little Aggies Soccer program on Monday nights this fall beginning October 8. The program will enroll ages 3-12 and offers a researched and proven curriculum designed to encourage a lasting appreciation for and understanding of soccer.
