MSC President Emeritus Dr. Clyde Kindell receives award from Ethiopian Crown Council

Murray State College President Emeritus Dr. Clyde Kindell, a long-time resident of Denison, Texas, was presented with a Grand Officership award by Ethiopia’s Crown Council in cooperation with the School of Global Studies and Partnerships at Oklahoma State University. LaDonna Brown of Chickasaw Nation to speak at Murray State College

The Murray State College Cultural Events Committee will host Chickasaw Nation Director of Research and Cultural Interpretation LaDonna Brown for an on-campus appearance April 12, 2018. Brown’s presentation will include discussion of Tishomingo’s history and the Chickasaw who originally settled surrounding areas. Read More »


Oklahoma Historical Society Travelling trunk to be on display at Murray State College

The Murray State College Responsible Citizenship Committee and the Social Sciences Department will again host an historical travelling trunk filled with unique artifacts on the campus of Murray State College in Tishomingo. Oklahoma 2017-18 poet laureate to speak at Tishomingo library

The Murray State College Language Arts Department will sponsor an appearance by Oklahoma 2017-18 Poet Laureate Jeanetta Calhoun Mish at downtown Tishomingo’s library on April 9, 2018. The event will begin at 2 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Read More »
