Strike Out Cancer

The Murray State College Softball Team is holding Strike Out Cancer games this Sunday. The games, postponed from earlier in the week due to the winter weather, are scheduled for 2:00 and 4:00 pm versus Northern Oklahoma College-Enid.

“It’s worked out pretty well,” says MSC Head Softball Coach Marie Stone. “With the games on Sunday now, we hope more people can turn out to cheer on the team and help out a good cause.”

At the Strike Out Cancer games the softball team will be taking donations for Addi Shamburg, a young woman who has been diagnosed with cancer. She is the daughter of NOC-Enid’s Head Men’s Basketball Coach Greg Shamburg.
