Murray State College nursing students to host a health fair on April 20


Murray State College nursing students will host a health fair in the MSC Tishomingo campus center commons area on April 20.  There is no cost to attend the health fair which will be begin at 10 a.m. and end at 2 p.m.

Students will set up booths to include information on smoking cessation, sexual assault, domestic violence, healthy diet options, diabetes prevention, stroke awareness, breast cancer awareness, gun safety, car seat safety, hydration, and suicide prevention along with a variety of additional health-related topics.  Students will also be performing blood pressure and blood glucose checks free of charge.

“This event is very popular every year and offers a great deal of information for all who attend.  There will definitely be something for everyone at this year’s health fair, and we encourage the community to come out and learn something new about health and wellness,” MSC President Joy McDaniel said.
