Murray State College will host the 2nd Annual Aggie Open Golf Tournament on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at Tishomingo’s Golf and Recreation Club, 3600 West Golf Course Road.  The public is invited to participate in the 18-hole fundraiser which will benefit athletics at Murray State College.

The entry fee is $125, and cart fees are included. Included in the cost of entry is a hot breakfast including biscuits and gravy, lunch from the grill and beverages during play.  Collegiate golfers are not eligible to participate, and all players must be 21 or older.

Players can register and pay for Aggie Open entry at 8 a.m. on tournament day, September 9.  Teams will be drawn by handicap at 8:30 a.m., and tee off is at 9 a.m.

“We’re expecting a large group again this year, and I encourage all golfers in the area to come out and join us.  It’s always a great time with great friends in support of Murray State College,” Murray State College President Joy McDaniel said.

There will be awards for closest to the pin and longest drive, with $5 greenie bets on at least one hole during the day.
