MSC Softball Splits with NOC-Tonkawa

The Murray State College softball team split with the NOC-Tonkawa Mavericks on Saturday, April 2 at home.

The Aggies started the afternoon with a 10-12 loss to the Mavericks. Selena Mendoza singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth. MSC scored six runs in the sixth inning, but that wasn’t enough to pull through the win.

Murray State were the victors in the neck-and-neck contest later that afternoon, beating NOC-Tonkawa 13-12. Audrey Simpson stole home in the seventh inning and clinched the Aggie’s lead over the Mavs.

Murray State College will travel to Enid, Okla. on April 5 to play NOC-Enid at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
