MSC Softball Player Sarrah Mains Signs with St. Gregory’s

MSC Softball middle infielder Sarrah Mains has signed to play softball with St. Gregory’s University in Shawnee, Okla., after graduating from MSC in May.

Mains said, “I will miss Murray State and the MSC community, but look forward to the new experiences and memories I will make at St. Gregory’s.”

Mains, a Crescent, Okla., native, is currently a nursing major. After receiving her bachelor’s degree from SGU, she plans to move to Colorado and pursue her master’s degree before moving back to Oklahoma to coach softball.

MSC Head Softball Coach Aaron Mullens said, “Mains is the catalyst of our team as she always fires up the team. She always performs with high intensity whether that be in a game or in practice. She is a great addition to our program, and I wish her success as she heads to SGU.”

Mains will finish the 2017 season with MSC before starting her journey at SGU in the fall.
