MSC Softball Player Peyton Tinney Signs with UT Tyler

Murray State College third baseman Peyton Tinney has signed to play softball with the University of Texas in Tyler after graduating from MSC in May.

Tinney, a Sherman, Texas, native said, “I will miss Murray’s small campus and all my teammates, but I look forward to continuing my education and softball career at UT Tyler. I am excited to grow as a player and by the opportunity to play for a reigning national championship team. The campus atmosphere is amazing and will be a great place to call home.”

MSC Softball Head Coach Aaron Mullens said, “Peyton is a great addition to our program. She is an excellent third baseman who is learning how to excel at first base this season. I foresee her being a great asset to our batting lineup. I wish her success as she moves forward on this new journey.”

Tinney will finish this season as an Aggie before heading south to continue her pursuit of a kinesiology degree at UT Tyler.
