MSC Men’s Basketball Advances to Region II Tournament


TISHOMINGO, Okla. (March 1, 2016) – The Murray State College men’s basketball team will begin Region II Tournament play after beating the Carl Albert State College Vikings 91-76 at home on Monday, February 29.

The leading scorers for the Aggies were freshman A’Torey Everett with 21 points and freshman Lester Green with 18 points.

Sophomore Chukuma Emeka Iheama was the strongest rebounder for MSC with six rebounds. Iheama also totaled four assists and 10 points.

The Aggies will advance to the playoffs and face Connors State College at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 3 in the Region II Tournament at St. Gregory’s University in Shawnee, Okla.
