MSC Defeats Rose State


TISHOMINGO, Okla. (February 15, 2016) – The MSC baseball team defeated the Rose State College Raiders 5-2 Monday, February 15.

The Raiders gained an early lead in the third inning of action and held the lead for the majority of the game.

The Aggies remained scoreless until the eighth inning when freshman Joseph Shepherd recorded three RBIs on one hit and freshman Chandler Robertson added on a double RBI for the lead.

Freshman pitcher Dillon Lawrence threw more than six powerful innings for the Aggies. Lawrence struck out five, allowed two earned runs and six hits.

The Aggies will stay home and play Iowa Western CC on February 18 at 5 p.m. and February 19 at 6 p.m.
