MSC Baseball Falls to Western


The Murray State College baseball team fell to the Western Oklahoma State College Pioneers in a doubleheader at home on Sunday, April 24.

The first game of the afternoon ended with an 8-14 loss for the Aggies. Joseph Shepherd and Marten Pauwels both earned home runs for MSC. Drew Kilgore and Dillon Lawrence pitched two innings for the Aggies, with Kilgore striking out four batters and Lawrence striking out two.

The afternoon ended with a 10-16 loss for MSC. Colton Anderson and Cade Carter both racked up home runs for the Aggies. Greg Greenwood pitched more than four strong innings and struck out six batters. 

MSC will stay home and face NOC-Enid at 1 p.m. and 3p.m. on Thursday, April 28.
