Director of OTA program at MSC wins statewide occupational therapist of the year award


Dr. Jayne Campanini, program director for the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at Murray State College has been named occupational therapist of the year by the Oklahoma Occupational Therapy Association (OKOTA). 

Campanini was selected based on her dedication to the profession as well as her strength and leadership.  She was commended for taking on the role of program director at MSC during the accreditation process.

“Dr. Campanini is an outstanding leader within the profession of occupational therapy and within our program at Murray State College.  We are extremely fortunate to have her as director of the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and congratulate her on this impressive award,” MSC President Joy McDaniel said.

The OKOTA is celebrating its 50th year as a professional organization in 2017.  The organization includes members from Oklahoma, other states and international locations.  Members act as mentors, promote OT within their communities, advance best practice in state regulatory agencies and at the state capitol, support related program development and provide continuing education opportunities.
