AT&T to present Murray State College with $20,000 for concurrent student enrollment program
Officials from AT&T will be on hand at Murray State College in Tishomingo on Friday, November 3 to present a $20,000 check in support of concurrent student enrollment and retention. The check presentation will follow a 10 a.m. ribbon cutting for the college’s new health science building.
Funds from AT&T will assist with development of videos and publications that explain the requirements and benefits of concurrent enrollment to students and their families.
“Studies show that concurrent students excel in higher education settings after graduation, and we so much appreciate this gift from AT&T that will allow us to reach more students,” MSC President Joy McDaniel said.
The public is invited to attend the AT&T check presentation ceremony and the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new health science building. The program will begin at 10 a.m. on November 3 in front of the health science building on the Tishomingo campus of Murray State College.
