The American Angus Association will assist Murray State College in its 3rd Annual Bull and Female Sale on Wednesday, April 12, 2017.  The sale begins at 1 p.m. in the Johnston County Fair Barn in Tishomingo, Okla.

As the nation’s largest beef breed organization, the American Angus Association serves more than 250,000 members across the U.S. and Canada.

The sale at Murray State College includes 30 registered angus bulls at 18 months of age, eight registered angus females (one bred and seven open), two commercial sim-angus bred heifers sired by Bandwagon and one commercial angus open heifer.

Those with interest in the sale can view the sale book online at www.angusjournal.com/salebooks/murray041217api for full information with photos. The auctioneer for this year’s sale will be Matt Sims.

“We’re extremely pleased to be working with the American Angus Association on this year’s auction.  It’s always a big event, but this year we’re anticipating even more interest due to the online catalog.  I’d encourage everyone to come out and participate on April 12,” MSC President Joy McDaniel said.

Please contact MSC representatives Brian Campbell at 580-490-1360 or Blaine Red at 580-371-8450 for additional information or sale-day bidding.
