Aggies Win 16-Inning Game against Hill College

                TISHOMINGO, OKLA. (February 10, 2016) – The MSC baseball team battled with Hill College at the Ranch on Tuesday, February 10. After 16-innings of action, the Aggies came out on top 15-14.

MSC gained a significant lead in the beginning of the contest, but the Rebels fought back and tied the game 13-13 in the 9th inning. The Aggies played seven extra innings in order to break the tie.

MSC freshman pitcher AJ Austin was the player of the game. Austin threw five strong innings with five strikeouts and two hits.

In the sixth inning, the Aggies earned a two-run home run from sophomore Fernando Garcia.

Freshman Joseph Shepherd hit an RBI triple in the 16th inning to tie the game 14-14. Sophomore Clay Crews stepped up to the plate and bunted in Shepherd to win the contest.

The Aggies will stay home for their next two games of the season. They will face Grayson College at 12 p.m. and Allen Community College at 6 p.m. on February 12 at the Ranch in Tishomingo.
